Dallas Mavericks
DO you guys think they will make the playoffs?
If so do you think they will upset the Lakers I meann these group of guys can playy butt idk what the heck Mark Cuban was thinking trading Devin Harris?
Well playoffs will be fun this season!!!

Well, I'm a Mavs fan. Also a Suns fan, just saying. But anyway, I bet they do make the playoffs. But no way in HECK they beat the Lakers, and not just because the Lakers are good. But the Mavs have no leadership. I'm a fan, I'm from 2 hours away from Dallas, and also I'm a huge Kidd fan (from his first stint), but I'm just not a Nowitzki fan. He is a very, very good player. Just not a great player. His stats say he is great, but he isnt a great player to me because he just isnt that hardcore leader. He just goes out and gets a good amount of points and rebounds, which is very good. This team needs leadership. Anyone remember when the Mavs were the #1 seed and lost to the #8 Warriors? It wasnt JUST because the Warriors matched up well against the Mavs, but because the Mavs didnt have that leadership to get them above an inferior team.
Sorry for rambling a bit.

ya true and also DOn Nelson had something to do with beating the Mavs that year!!! Dont yu think kidd is a tremendous leader I mean he lead his team the nets to the finals three times I wouldd think he would be a leader

Well yeah, that is a very good point. Don Nelson did have a lot to do with it, no doubt. And yes Kidd is a great leader, but it just seems like he doesnt fit this team. And obviously I'm a HUGE kidd fan, he's been my favorite player since I was 11 years old haha. But Kidd is getting a bit old, plus his style of play may not fit this team. The leader, or the main leader anyway, should be Nowitzki. I mean, he's the star, and the best player on the team.
But, you cant take away to what the PLAYERS on the Golden State team did that year against the Mavs, they were amazing and straight up beat the crap out of the Mavs.

Mavs will make it - they have a 3 game lead over the Suns with 6 or 7 games to play, or something like that. They will face the Lakers in the first round and promptly realize that they may've been better off tanking the season and trying to pull a "Chicago Bulls draft luck" from last year...lol

Mavs will be in as the 8th seed. Probably be swept by the Lakers.
