Hi... My name is Jimmy and I'm new here.

I'm a Packers football fan and a Celtics basketball fan.

I'm not a collector, but I accumulated A LOT of sports cards (mostly football, but a few basketball and baseball) when I was in grade school and middle school. Most of my cards are between 1990 and 1995-96.

I specifically collected Barry Sanders football cards back in the day. A little later on, I collected Grant Hill basketball cards (back when he was the next big thing- before his knee injuries).

I'm really looking to unload a lot of my collection. They've moved into a closet of every house I've lived in since moving away from home 10 years ago, so they're really not doing me any good anymore.

Do you ever go to the Lexington Card show? As I was there last weekend with a bunch of guys from SCF tyude2, htzwheels, new8403, lolbubba (sp), and more from the site. SO if you ever game for a cardshow just holler.

Welcome to SCF! Glad you decided to join. This is the best place to trade cards, talk about em, or even just sell them like your looking to do. My little brother actually goes to UK, he loves it out there. I've been out there once, its a really nice town. I'm guessing you like the celtics even more with rondo on them haha. What makes you a packers fan? You'll have to get a list together of what you have and post so people can buy em or make ya an offer. Hope to see you around the boards.

I've never been to the Lexington card show, Don. In fact, I had no idea such a thing even existed. When/where is it held? I may be down to check it out sometime... though I fear it may entice me to start collecting again. :).

Matt, Lexington is a great little town.

I've been a Celtics fan since I was a kid, probably a result of my father watching the Celtics when I was growing up. Plus I've been a KG fan since back in the day. Rondo doesn't hurt my opinion of them, either.

I'm not sure what sparked my interest in the Packers, though... maybe I like green? Or cheese? Whatever the case may be, I can remember liking them in grade school, even before Favre... Though, I'm sure he helped keep me loyal. Now I guees I'm a Cheesehead till I die.

I'm sure I'll be putting some cards up for sale soon. At the moment, I don't even know what I have anymore. I have even less of an idea about what anything is worth. I don't think I even broken these things out since '98 or so. They're all in albums and boxes that have been living in closets and garages for the last 10-12 years. I'd say I have somewhere in the neighborhood of 15-20,000 cards, though. Hopefully I come up with some good stuff!

Just a fact the card show to set up will only set you back 15 dollars for 2 days. So you might want to bring some of your cards to see if you can move them. If you need any help just let me know and perhaps we can split at table if your so inclined. Then your only out 7 or 8 bucks and a crazy afternoon listening to me chat LOL.
