eBay question
I sold an item on eBay and shipped it a week and a half ago. The guy now says he hasn't got it, but I shipped it priority mail and the PO guy told me he'd get it 2-3 days. I do have the receipt from where I sent the item off, but I did not do delivery confirmation. If he insists he hasn't got it, do I have to pay him back through paypal or will they determine it's not my fault? The total sell price was for $86.00 so I really don't want to have to pay that back when I did what I was supposed to do you know. Has this happened to anyone else? What should I do?
I also wanted to add that I did offer insurance as an option, but the buyer did not choose it.

Go through Paypal, tell him that you aren't going to pay him back, just let him file a claim. All you have to do is scan the receipt and that's the proof that you sent the item to him. You shouldn't have to lose any of the money.

If you offered insurance and he declined it is his fault the PO lost it

Sorry not true.
It is the sellers responsibility to insure that the package arrives.
Paypal will usually side with the buyer on these type of disputes.Hidden Content

Thanks for the responses. Luckily the guy was honest and let me know he got the package today. Apparently the worker there left it behind a counter and was just gonna let it sit there until someone claimed it. I'm really glad all ended well and I def learned my lesson and will always use DC from now on!

Yep happened to me. Or if the card comes damaged, they'll side with the buyer. It happened to me when a card arrived creased. Paypal sent the money back, I shipped the card back. Glad to hear the card arrived though. at least you learned DC#'s are always worth the .75 cents
