For the NORTH CAROLINA Members
hey just a quick question for all the NC members, has anyone gotten their state tax refund?? I have filed mine and it has been "in process" since Feb!!!! Is the State that broke that it cant issue a tax refund?? Just curious to see if I am the ONLY person. Thanks!!!!

Haven't rec'd mine yet. Filed early Feb. Says "in process" as well. Federal was in my acct. in 10 days.

We've got ours, but it did take a long time. I want to say like 6 weeks or more. We filed some time in Feb and got it back about a week ago.

If you dont mind me asking, was your Direct Deposit, or a paper check? If you dont want to answer i TOTALLY understand.

Yeah....Direct Deposit is way quicker than paper check

yeah i had my federal direct deposit, but i figured my state would come pretty quickly (as a check) as it did in years past. I starting to wonder if the state is out of $$

Just saw something on the local news in Charlotte. The state is spreading out the refunds over 4-6 week increments so that they don't run out of money. Basically, they're using this year's tax revenue to pay out last year's returns.

ok, but when does the 4-6 weeks start? 6 months from now, or after tax day? not questioning you, but just throwing that out there. thanks for the info BTW.

i got man back like 10 days after i filed direct deposit.
