Getting Back into Collecting...Need Box Opinions

First real post...here goes:

Some time late last year I had a nostalgic memory of collecting cards as a kid when inserts amounted to holograms and some numbered cards. So after reading up too much and seeing the sweet cards and autos now, I opted to buy a couple boxes for good ol' times.

Bought a few boxes and had some hits, most notably a SPA Kevin Durant #/199 Auto Patch RC. Needless to say, that got me interested. Had to back off there after to save for a house. Thats my story....

I have my house now and can afford to get some boxes. I found that collecting a particular player may be the best in staying interested and having a "goal" so I picked the only player to have his jersey hung at my college, Acie Law IV. FYI...I'm collecting Acie Law.. =P

My question to anyone who would like to share some opinions is for 08/09, what boxes have been showing good results for the cost of the box? I typically only buy boxes FYI. Also, what showed to do well in 07/08? I obviously got a decent hit from my SPA box break but with only a couple hits, I didnt really enjoy it. I appreciate anyone's time that is put into this thread. Thank you.
