Talking Bynum Set To Return On Thursday!!!

Los Angeles Lakers center Andrew Bynum will return to action Thursday against the Denver Nuggets, according to a source close to the Lakers.

Bynum, the team's budding star at center, has missed the past 32 games after suffering a torn medial collateral ligament in his right knee Jan. 31 at Memphis. The source said Lakers coach Phil Jackson telephoned Bynum Tuesday night and told him he was going to be activated for Thursday's game.

Jackson has said recently that Bynum probably will start once he returns, a move that likely will send Lamar Odom back to the bench.

Hope this isn't too soon for him - if he reinjures his knee, it could jeopardize his career...and I'm not just saying this because I'm a Boston fan.

This is definitely a good news for the Lakers!

This is a perfect timing as he will get few regular season games and bring his best in the playoffs.

Hopefully Pau can get some rest now. He was playing almost 40 minutes every close games.

And for Bynum's knee, I'm pretty sure Lakers have scrutinized him very well and decided that it is best to get him out there now. I mean usually players who come back from injuries usually start from the bench, but they declared he will start.

That proves he is playing very well at practices and almost 100% back in pre-injury form.
