Hackers embed code in power grid.

This is a big problem ...

    http://www.cnn.com/2009/TECH/04/08/g...eat/index.html

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Computer hackers have embedded software in the United States' electricity grid and other infrastructure that could potentially disrupt service or damage equipment, two former federal officials told CNN.

imagine ... the entire US power grid shut down, security breaches in our oil and gas distributors, telecommunication companies and financial service companies!!!! This is a disaster waiting to happen!

Yes, that could be a major problem. I know code can take ridiculously long to go through and find things like this, but shouldn't they be dedicating whatever resources it takes to fix this?

oh yes OnePimp they are ... they are taking measures to control this. Unfortunately when that happens it may also strip our rights to the internet as well.

Senate bills No. 773 and 778, introduced by Sen. Jay Rockefeller, D-W.V., are both part of what's being called the Cybersecurity Act of 2009, which would create a new Office of the National Cybersecurity Advisor, reportable directly to the president and charged with defending the country from cyber attack.

Kind of interesting to see who introduced these bills huh? Anyone want to dispute the Rockefellers and their power and greed within this system we call our government.

John "Jay" Rockefeller recently called the internet "our #1 National hazzard" and if it's left to him it will be controlled just like the Rockefellers control the mainstream media.

That's one issue I'm very worried about as well, the government wanting to increase their control over the internet.
