    UD Black fans help

I recently purchased this card on ebay. When I recieved it the card was in nothing but a sleeve and had what appears to me to be creaes in it. I asked the seller about it and he said that is manufactured that way. As I have never owned any other UD black cards and havent seen any others in person so I dont know but it looks like damage to me. Have a look Ill let the experts decide. You can see the crease marks on the L in black and between the R and O in detroit. The card is bent in the middle slightly.

They were probably there, but it should have been noted in the sale thread.

ya, I'd say that looks damaged, I've seen a few of these and had held them at card shows they were all perfect with no bends or cracks, creases, in the ebay listing did the seller have a pic of it? and can you tell if there is any difference?
still a nice piece to have though.

It wasn't in the listing and you couldn't see them in the scan. His picture wasn't as good as mine. It is a nice card but i think for recieving that card in a sleeve and nothing else and being damaged maybe a refund is in order.

I have two of these exact cards and neither of mine have creases.

if its for your pc and you got it for a decent price then I'd keep it, but if your trying to move it or sell it later I'd try to get some kind of refund, or you can do what I've done in the past, send the card to upper deck for a replacement and hope you get it back within 4-6weeks, but with an auto and jersey like that it could take longer.

I want to keep it I got it at a decent price but I don't like the idea of paying money for a ruined card. On the other hand I never even considered sending it to UD for replacement. Thats a heck of an idea.

    Thanks for the input

The back of the card will tell you if was bent.

If there is damage on the back, then you'll know.

if not, then it was manufactured that way.
the swatch was not fat enough for the space & was glued
down tight too it, causing it to bend at the corners, edges, etc...

    just my 2 cents.

Yeah, I'd get my money back, that is not supposed to be there. Also, I ALWAYS mention in my description if there is ANYTHING AT ALL WRONG WITH THE CARD, even the slightest wear on a corner. That is UNACCEPTABLE on the seller's part. If he doesn't give you a refund, I'd ask eBay about it...

I talked to paypal and they suggested I ask for a partial refund. I wouldnt mind keeping it if he did that. Sending the card back at my own expense and waiting for him to decide whether or not to refund my money seems like a giant pain.
