Carolina Basketball Museum
I took my Easter vacation from Virginia Beach to Charlotte this weekend. I decided to take my family on a detour to Chapel Hill, NC to check out the Carolina Basketball Museum. I took plenty of pictures and put them into my bucket if you want to check them out. I spent quite a bit on UNC gear that I probably could have gotten for half the price online, but it was worth it. Awesome experience walking down Franklin Street. I never get tired of walking through campus.
Take a look at how different Michael Jordan's signature looked in 1982 on the NCAA Championship ball. They're hi-res so I won't post them here in the forum. Wish the website dev team would implement image resize bbcode script. Here is a link to the album...

You know it. I usually pick up a new ball cap and a t-shirt from the campus book store every trip. I just got back from raiding the local Wal Mart near Charlotte for my championship shirts. I should have posted something before I left on the trip. I could have bought you lunch lol.

That's awesome man! I've been meaning to take a trip there for a long time now.
Kinda funny, I was born and raised in Va Beach and live in Charlotte now. Small world.

I wanted to spend more time there, but my kids were getting restless. I'm planning on another trip this summer after the 2009 trophy is added. I loved seeing Dean Smith's and Roy Williams' Hall of Fame Rings and Tyler's face mask. The ACC Championship display and NCAA Championship Room left me absolutely speechless. It really is a world-class sports museum.
