Is that card worth like that?
Just curious Because that is not real patch and not beautiful Parallel like Star Rubies(1990's) kinds...
Here is another but similar ended auction result....

eh the Oscar 1/1 went for over 130 bucks. Probably set collectors plus the design is better than last years IMO.

Definitely seems high, but Ewing was/is a legend in NY and if a few people get into it on ebay, well, you know what happens.
Still crazy for a manufactured patch w/o an auto.

Pat was a beast and legendary in NY, so he has some hardcore collectors, not as much as Zo though. A manufactured patched #ed to /5 definitely isn't worlthles. I can at least $80 -100 for the #ed/5, but not $260.

'College Greats' huh? Why the NY jersey in the photo? :(
Pretty sad and IMO def not worth $260+
I'd be hard pressed to pay $25 for that garbage!
The second one is WAY better looking.Last edited by MatthewLee; 04-13-2009 at 06:01 AM.

Possibility
1) That is funny UD Commercial to make only money to UD.
or
2) part of clothes was from Hugo Boss, Armani or Zegna..
but nearly impossible.like 0.999999 %.

Either the buyer is a diehard Patrick Ewing fan or a collector of the set that's willing to drop that much for a manufactured patch. I'm not a fan of manufactured patches, but to each their own.

Well i would say that it being #d /5 would give it a good value. Not as much as was paid but it could be a set collector wanting them. That guy has another one of that same card #d 2/5 so maybe he has all five and some else wants the set of 5. Just a thought.
