Talking Series Prediction: Columbus vs Detroit

It's playoff time again and to make things even more entertaining, I thought we could have a bit of fun predicting the outcome. The rules are simple, state who will win and in how many games. Only one entry per member and no post editing, any editing will automatically disqualify the member. Amongst the people who guessed the outcome and the number of games rightly, a randomizer will be used to determine who wins 100 CC. The person with the most correct guesses at the end of the playoffs will win 2000 CC. As this one starts on Thursday, you have until Thursday 16th April 6.00 PM EST to make your prediction.

In the regular season, Detroit won 3 times, lost 2 in regulation and once in overtime. Could this be a first round upset? Will the Jackets make an impact in their first post season? stranger things have happened...

Who will win and in how many games?

My take: Columbus in 6. I'm going to Ohio in July for the nationals and I want the state to be hockey mad, call it wishful thinking

I'm going to go off on a limb and say Columbus in 7. Detroit has a history of sucking in the 1st round of the playoffs

I really wanted to pick Columbus to win a couple of rounds, and I don't think Detroit is going to go very far with the goaltending...... but there's too much of a mis-match here. Detroit is going to win, and I don't see it lasting more than 5 games. Their speed and will burn Columbus too much.
