I am going to believe that it's real. It is framed but it needs to be better framed. I guess his kids wanted to get some extra money(even tho Im sure they didnt need it) for him to sign a lot more or even have his kids sign things.

Even with authenticator like PSA/DNA, it's not a perfect science.
I've had experience with PSA to authenticate a few autographs which were obtained in person at the ballpark, but just wanted it slabbed, cause I think it looks cool. When they returned the cards back to me, they didn't say it was fake, but they told me they couldn't determine if it was "real" or not. They still charged me for it tho...
Also have a Dwight Gooden autograph on a 8x10, before he started signing it Doc Good...another autograph obtained in person at the ballpark. Same thing with this auto, they couldn't determine if it was real or not. So unless you plan to resell, authentication isn't necessary imo, as long as you think/know it's real.
Here are pics of the Dwight Gooden and Will Clark I tried to get authenticated. Both these were obtained around 86 or 87, and both of them have slightly different signatures since.
