Hey everyone, I'm now to this site. My name is Eric and I am an avid collector of baseball cards. I used to collect anything and everything but now I'm just collecting St. Louis Cardinals stuff and anything Chris Carpenter. Looking forward to getting into the site and seeing what all is here.

Hey Eric,

Welcome to SCF! Glad you decided to join the boards. You've come to the right place if your looking to trade cards, talk about em, or just meet new people. I used to collect everything as well, but its soo much easier to tone down the collection into one certain team. Much easier to keep track and organize. There is a group on here for team collectors you might have to look into if you just want to collect the Cards. They send all their other cards to the other team collectors and get what they are looking for in return. If this is your first website you've joined, you'll become more and more addicted. Its soo easy to trade cards on here with the members and there is always a card you can use in your collection. There are a few Cardinals collectors, and I know there is one mega collector on the boards whose entire collection is all about Chris Carpenter. Its pretty insane, you'll have to check it out. Glad Chris is back though, I don't think you could have asked for a better start then what he gave his first outing. I hope he has a good season after what he had to go through. There is a lot of knowledge in the baseball section and a bunch of great members so don't hesitate to post.
