After a couple of days without anything to report, my luck changed today! Here's what the mail brought today:
1. U of Maryland basketball coach Gary Williams. Signed color team photo. Sent request on 1/28 through univeristy website.
2. PGA Tour Pro Lee Westwood. Signed 5x7 sent from his management. Sent request on 12/11/06.
3. U of Texas basketball coach Rick Barnes. Sent a personalized 4x6. Sent request on 1/31. Request sent through university website.
4. U of Washington football coach Ty Willingham. Nice signed 8x10. Sent request on 1/17. I sent requests through the general football mailbox and through his assistant. I don't know which one responded.
5. Actress Dame Judi Dench - 'M' from the Bond movies among others. Sent an email to her management and she sent a nice, personalized 5x7. Sent request on 1/23.
I'll have scans up in the next day or so.

Today brought a pre-printed b/w 8x10 auto from music legend Neil Diamond. I wish it were a real auto, because I'm a Neil Diamond freak. But, it was free. Can't complain there. I'll have the scan up tomorrow most likely. Went through his fan club website for it.

At my home mailbox today I received a color 8x10 from Dan Hawkins, head football coach for the Univeristy of Colorado Golden Buffaloes! I'm a huge fan of the Buffs, so this one is great for me.

Today I received the following:
University of Wisconsin sent an 8x10 photo of basketball coach Bo Ryan. Nice, horizontal pic and a good signature. Sent the request through the basketball deaprtment on 01-30-07.
The Badgers also sent me, through their athletic director's office, a great black and white 8x10 of former football coach (and current AD) Barry Alvarez. This one took a little more work than an email, but it started with an email request so I listed it here. Sent request on 01-30-07.
Finally, PGA golfer Tim Clark sent me a signed Upper Deck card. It came in a regular letter envelope, with a piece of paper folded around it. Sent the email through his website on 12-10-07.
Pretty good day overall.
