First through the email success ever!
Rick Steves (famous for putting together tours for Europe. Has a television show and lots of guide books published.)
Not cool by many peoples' standards, but pretty cool for someone who uses the guide books and likes to travel.

Kevin Hearne auto bookplate and a nice personalized card via website

Bookplates are cool and you should try the writers of books off of your bookshelf! I actually recieved 3 autographed books in the mail for my wife from romance authors for Valentines!

Almost forgot to do this! Got these two yesterday-
First coming from our Nation's capital-
A signed 8 x 10 from former "con-man" and subject of the book, movie, and soon to be Broadway play "Catch Me If You Can", Mr. Frank Abagnale. The 8x10 is of him when he appeared on the gameshow "To Tell The Truth". He also sent me a signed postcard with a picture of the "CMIYC" Broadway poster on the front. Thanks Frank!

And next we have a signed photo from former crew chief and now announcer for FOX Sports, Mr. Larry McReynolds. Thanks Larry!

Here's my YouTube video of me opening them both-

Makes sense. I used to do alot of these and kind of have been dying for some good autographs at no price. Haven't been getting much in the mail lately. I go to look thru the emails and it looks so out of date it makes me not want to bother. I don't get why nobody in the success area here puts what address. I'd be more apt to try it if I knew it was something used recently. Forget going back a few years, I'd rather no twaste my time.

A couple reasons, Id guess
1. a lot of the email addys that used to work dont any more- and its much tougher to find working email addys- a lot of celebrities got tired of being flooded by requests from "fans" who were selling everything they got on ebay, so they quit sending via email
2. a lot of people in this hobby, for some reason, like to brag and gloat about how they have something that you dont- so they dont bother sharing. if it is a private email address that you find, and are asked not to share by a celeb- thats one thing- but why post a success if you arent willing to share where you got it from. if i were to ever get an autograph that i didnt want to share with everyone (cant see why, but whatever) I just wouldnt post that I had recieved anything, instead of saying "ha ha- I got it and I wont share"
its juvenile and petty- but some people get their kicks doing that.

Yeah probably they just don't want others to enjoy. I use another site to log requests and thats how I get my addresses. Much easier than this one. You have to scroll over the name on here to get the address. And I don't have time for that.
I used to get Harveys lists but can't afford it anymore. So anything that someone posts I am very thankful for.
Not saying I'm lazy on the emails, but I don't have time to be sending an email for it to come back. I think the post for those is way out of hand. It's so many pages, I'm all set wasting my time going thru them all for a RTS.
