4/13/09 Magic-Bucks

My friend and i hit up the orlando hotel yesterday and got a few successes here and there. started off with us realizing the reds were in town so we each got dusty baker on an ic.
next orlandos bus showed up from the shoot around, everyone got on and ignored except for one, and that was dwight, he signed for everyone. i got a poster signed from slam magazine, and my friend got a pic of him hugging the slam dunk trophy. later, we saw dwight, jameer, and someone else leave the hotel, we let them go tho. then the reason i really went came out. JJ Redick. I got him to sign my 11x17 player of the year poster in silver, but it turned out terrible. he went along his way got lost, and was back in 5 minutes. i took a shoe over to get signed, but he looked at me and said i already signed for you and entered the hotel. salim stoudamire showed up, and signed an ic for each of us. dwight and jameer came back with hedo and we tried to get dwight but jameer blocked him off. we left and came back later.
i got tyronn lue as they were boarding the bus. courtney lee came over, but i couldnt find my sharpie so he left before i could get him. patrick ewing came out before that. "Pat, are you signing" "no...." A few people came out and we asked if they could sign but they just got on the bus. at this point it was raining hard. dwight came out and began to sign for everyone under the umbrella, while joking the whole time. at one point he randomly broke into viva las vegas, and one guy gave him a picture to sign and he went, whos that good looking guy, thats you dwight, thats me? i didnt know i was so big! hes a clown, but a class act. my friend got the slam poster signed, that i got signed and i got him to sign my si for kids cover, but it got pretty much destroyed by the rain...
i gained a lot of respect for dwight yesterday, he really is as classy as they come.

lol, someone else did but he just kept walking. at the game dwight was talking with a lady in a wheelchair, and he was like hey grandma how you doing! then she goes, im not your grandma, but i have talked to you before. dwight, when was this? i dont know when, but you still had braces on! dwight just cracked up it was hilarious. then dwight goes, do you know who patrick chewing is? and she goes, the guy from the snickers commercial right, and dwight was like, thats him over there, the super tall ugly one. hes absolutely crazy
