Haha....oh dear. No Hodgson patch for me.

But...it says whoever buys (and opens) 2 packs of Ultimate qualifies to receive one Ultimate Player card. Does this mean I'd be put in a drawing for one of them? Or do I get one? Perhaps I should contact ITG?

You're right, I read it again and those are only for the Ultimate packs. All the same, there are other variations that you could get (three/four/five/six piece) and without seeing the checklist you don't know what the depth is like for the player selection. As for how you get them, I've never been to an expo like this or seen the program but I'm assuming they are given out randomly in some kind of pack (maybe someone can confirm).

I'm sure they will still be sweet cards though!

Usually they have them in a binder and they just hand them out in order (random). Of course they do have programs sometimes where they let you buy a pack and choose a card from your pack to be stamped etc. Of course that not what stated above.
