Well....Why in the (you know what) is OTP not a fan of Texas?!?! haah. j/k man. But yeah, Texas is a great place to be. I love it. Most of us stand up for what we believe in, and most of them are right (of course not all, by no means).
But of course I think the government has become too big, kinda has been for awhile. I'd love for the national government to give more power to the states because as Gov. Perry said, who knows more about Texas than Texans? Same for any state in the USA. Washington doesnt know whats best for New Mexico, Arizona, Texas, North Dakota, etc. Only the residents do. I think giving the states more power to do what they NEED to do will help the nation a lot.

OPT, Oh and by the way, Austin is the most (or pretty close) liberal city in Texas. So I dont know if you'd like it, haha. Stick to a smaller town, or Fort Worth. Just saying.

It's too **** hot for me in Texas...I'd do much better in Alaska. Aside from the weather, I think I'd like it a lot. Austin is probably the only bigger city I would consider and only because of the music scene....maybe San Antonio, but I've never been there. Dallas/FW, Houston, El Paso...no way. I might check out a place like Lubbock or Amarillo or Luckenbach...if it's in a country song it can't be too bad right?

West Texas is way too windy. The only big city I'd consider is Fort Worth, its really nice. But yeah it gets hot here, but it gets cold too. Oh yeah, check out Larry Joe Taylors chili cookoff and music festival, its coming up next weekend. Just google it, it should be something you'd like.

A few states did this under Bush because of his policies. Texas can not just leave the US even though I wish they could. Would rather have Cuba as the 50th state then texas esp. after the last leader to come out of there..
They can not directly leave but they can split into 5 seperate states that would allow them to send 10 senators to Washington which they would hope causes the senate to vote them out of the union (then they can be part of Mexico)

Yeah dude, me too. I'd rather have a communist nation that aimed missiles at us 50 years ago than one of our own states.
Rock on! What's another outrageous claim we can make?!
