I've seen some pretty twisted Spezza patches and I've seen the same creasing on cards. Inclined to think that it is a legitimate patch with typical QC.

I agree with you that he not doing a full disclosure. That would be nice if he did. By including a scan that shows the damage in my opinion he is covering himself from the way Ebay operates. Is it being totally upfront definitely not but he probably of the mindset that if I state the damage its going to cost me dollars in a lower bid.

I myself bought one pack of OPC-P last year and pulled a Ryan Miller Quad Remnants patch /20... All 4 patches were multi color and really nice and all the letters had creases between them like that... i'd say its legit from personal experience with the product.

It's legit. Almost all of the quad patches from OPC Premier had some form of creasing/damaged around the swatches. A lot of these questions regarding "fake" patches can easily be answered by simply doing a little research on the cards/products in question.

I thought that's what I was doing by opening this thread. There are lots of people on this site who know more about this set than I do.
Could I have spent several hours surfing the web, googling OPC, and making phone calls? Yes, I could have. Instead, I thought I seek out the wisdom of my fellow collectors, whose opinions I trust. Isn't that one of the reasons for having these boards?Hidden Content
