Instructions

This group break will be done as a draft break. That means there will be 15 slots and each slot will get 4 picks, essectially creating your own pack of Ultimate Collection. Slot positions will be done via random drawing.

Because there will be a huge interest in this and to be fair to all those involved, no one can directly buy into any slot. If you are interested in being a part of the break, just post on the thread. At the end of 72 hours, I will close out the entries and do a random draw for positions. If there are more than 15 members interested, all names will be entered into the random draw. I will take the first fifteen names listed in the randomizer and assign them in order to the list picks (name 1 gets slot 1 and so forth). If your name is selected, you are committed to being a part of this break. If you back out, you will receive a negative feedback and will no longer be permitted to participate in any group breaks I conduct in the future.

When you post that you are interested, please post the highest slot you are interested in. That way, if your name is in the top fifteen, I can just slide you down if necessary and move those below you up one position.

For example, I would post something like this:

"Interested in the break. Slot 11 is the highest slot I'm interested in."

Let's say I do the random draw and my name comes up number 4. Then I would move my name down to slot 11 and everyone else moves up one slot from 5-11. This way, no one has to worry about getting stuck with a slot position they cannot afford.

Once the list has been set, the participants will have 24 hours to swap positions with one another if they choose to do so. After 24 hours, all picks are locked. At that time, I will send out the trade links. Once the links are sent, you have one week from that time to make payment or forfeit your spot. No exceptions! Payments are time sensitive as I have to have all the money in hand to cover payment on the box.

The box will be broken live on video on the day I receive them. I will post scans after the video is uploaded. ***I am expecting to have a digital camcorder by then. If so, I will do the break live either in the chat room or via UStream. ***

I posted my interest for this break in the original thread but now have second thoughts...I am currently in a long holding pattern in another group break here on SCF consisting of one box (32 cards) and three people (one person has two picks). This current break should really take about 1-2 hours, tops. We are now on day 2 and I have picked twice...

I know this is not a place to rant but, with 15 people in a break I am concerned that it may take weeks to make all the picks...

I know this question is unaswerable but I'm going to ask anyway... How long do you predict it will take from busting to the final picks and shipment of the cards?

Let it be known: the break I am moaning about is extremely well-run and the SCF moderator (you all know him!) has done an excellent job.

Hard to predict a time...what I recommend to all those who participate is to take the list of cards and send me a list in order via PM of pick priority (much like you would do in a fantasy draft). This way, I can auto draft for everyone when the time comes and it is done in no time.
