ITG Announces a "Stimulus" for H&P Update Set
ITG has just announced their intention to increase the number of autograph cards collectors will receive in their Heroes & Prospects Update Sets. Previously the plan was to have the 50 base cards come with one autograph, but now they have announced that there will be two autographs per set.
The sets can be purchased from the ITG website.
The auto set looks like this:
A-OO Oskar Osala
A-BMAR Brad Marchand
A-BSA Bobby Sanguinetti
A-SV Simeon Varlamov
A-LCAP Luca Caputi
A-MR Michal Repik
A-BMAX Ben Maxwell
A-SD Simon Despres
A-ANE Andrej Nestrasil
A-COR Charles-Olivier Roussel
A-DG David Gilbert
A-DK Dmitry Kulikov
A-JCA Jordan Caron
A-OR Olivier Roy
A-CA Carter Ashton
A-SG Scott Glennie
A-LK Levko Koper
A-CE Cody Eakin
A-SE Stefan Elliott
A-JBU Jimmy Bubnick
A-EK Evander Kane
A-PH Peter Holland
A-EP Edward Pasquale
A-NK Nazem Kadri
A-ZK Zack Kassian
A-CDH Calvin de Haan
A-MLA Michael Latta
A-RE Ryan Ellis
A-JTAV1 John Tavares
A-JTAV2 John Tavares
A-JTAV3 John Tavares
That's right - three different Tavares autos, and your chance of grabbing one just doubled.
I was on the fence about doing the update set before, but now I think I might just go ahead and do it!
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

It is not a major improvement, last years set had an auto and game used per set.

Rich,
Not even going to mention the 10 wrappers? As I think that meant a saving on Shipping and Handling or something to that effect.
DONCard Supplies
Toploaders 60 point $4, 100 point $7, 140 point $4, 190 point $3, 240 point $3
Soft Sleeves Standard $1 and Thick $1.50
TOP-LOADER 3X4,100 CT PENNY SLEEVES INCLUDED $11

I think you save $5 if you send in 10 wrappers but IMO it is pointless because it'll cost a couple of bucks just to send in the wrappers.

As it wasn't part of the stimulus announcement, but rather the original announcement about the product, no. People who were interested in the set before already knew about it, and people who go to the ITG website to learn more about the "stimulus" would learn about it there.
Gotta let folks learn some stuff through good old-fashioned research, right?
