The Kobe Bryant Powerdeck CD-ROM card 10 years later
So I happened to be moving some stuff around and I came across this card while going through my old college textbooks...

But does anybody remember the old days when these were new and exciting? I can't recall if they were ever really hot in terms of the hobby, but I really thought we were headed to some sort of merging with the tech world instead of the way things turned out...
And here's the Kobe video you would have found in the CD, but I'm guessing most of us have computers that would just overpower the card, so I've saved you the trouble of checking it out.

I had one of Lamar Odom back in the day. It's funny since I remember a 1994 issue of a sports card magazine I got as a kid where a writer predicted cards would be merged with CDs soon. They were, but it still never caught on..

Thank you for sharing precious video. =)
(and there is Robert Horry..haha)
and very nice find.
At that time, internet environment was not like these days and streaming sevice was really poor.
So that card was one of nice stuff.
(not like these days)
As reference, there are crazy ODDs Powerdeck in 1999-00 Upperdeck.
ODDs is 1:2,500(as the same as 1997-98 UD Jersey. right? ;) )
PDX 1 is MJ and PDX 2 is The Big Ticket.
I have seen only few cards especially The Big Ticket's
As my experience, KG's PDX is harder than MJ's.
Because I saw few MJ Powerdeck but I have never seen KG PDX except mine.

Of course, there would be more PDX of MJ and KG's.
But the truth is this card is really hard to find or get.
(IMO even certain big MJ collectors would not have PDX.)
P.S.: I also had MJ PDX around 2001 but I sold..
