Do you buy boxes? or just a whole bunch of different packs? Certain types of card sets? ebay? I need help getting some more good autos and gu here.

I buy a lot of my cards on ebay. I sometimes buy packs and boxes, but not very often. If you want quantity over quality, just buy a lot of game used cards on ebay, it won't cost you very much, and you can get 4 or 5 game used at a time that way.

the best way to do both is find a certain player or someone you like who is under the radar. for instance i like texas tech players and since they are not highly touted prospects i can get their cards cheap on ebay. you can also find boxes that usually have a guarantee of two or even up to five or six autos/game used cards. these boxes, depending on how much you want to spend, provide the "quality" part and ebay provides the "quantity." mix and match and you'll have a bunch of gu/autos in no time

Yeah, what he just said. For Instance, if you buy a box of Sage Hit, you are garaunteed to get 5 autos and 1 game used. It says it right on the front of the box.

Ebay or card shows are best for autographs IMO. I hate wax because you never know who you will get/if you will get anything.

I probably have over 300 g/u and certified autographs. eBay is undoubtedly, the best source for getting them cheap.

With a little bit of hunting, you can build a large collection. G/U and autos can cost as little as $1 and an SASE for shipping.

I once bought a Lance Berkman jsy for a quarter and SASE.
