Official Pistons @ Cavaliers, Game 2, thread
Game tips at 8 PM EDT on TNT. I've read that the Pistons are going to change how they play Lebron in this game - we'll see if that helps them or hurts them...they change too much, and everyone else will be wide open on the Cavs.

i could be a little biased here, but i think its going to be another easy win for the cavs. they have just to many weapons. if they double or triple lebron that just leaves open mo, boobie, west etc. hooker

Nah, not biased - I think the same thing, and I'm not a Cleveland fan...Detroit will not win a game in Cleveland...they'll probably win one in Detroit, but they won't be able to win in Cleveland.

I'm not going to say anything. I'll root my Cavs on, and hope they come out on top. I'd normally be talking smack or predicting a Cavs win, but anything can happen in the playoffs.

Detroit will take this one. (hopefully lol). Double team LeBron every time he touches the ball. Make the rest of the team beat you. If you lose and LeBron only scores 10 - 20 then nothing much else you can do. Cleveland does have other weapons but stop the #1 option and make the 2, 3, 4, and 5 options beat you. Don't let LeBron score his 40 because you probably wont win if he does.
Detroit offensively this game needs someone to step up the whole game. Sheed needs to get into the post and work down low. Not many people can stop him down there. Need to play the bench more. Detroit has a deep bench and needs to be used to keep the starters fresh. Will Bynum can light it up off the bench and Maxiell always plays 110%.
They say Detroit is going to change the way they play LeBron but I bet they come out and play him the same way they did in Game 1 and he hits 40 this game. Anyway hopefully this is a better game than the first.

the only way (IMO) that the pistons can stop the cavs, or lebron in this series, is to employ the John Chaney trick- send out the bottom of your bench, and just sucker punch lebron in the opening minutes. sure, its a T, and that guy will be ejected, but then, and only then, do the pistons have a chance in this series.

If you see Walter Sharpe in the game then you know what they are doing lol. I think Detroit has a chance to beat the Cavs in the series. They just need to buckle down and play solid basketball. Not many people gave Michigan State a chance this year and they made it to the Championship at least until they blew it. I just hope this game is better than the first no matter the outcome.
