Marc Andre Fleury
I'm currently watching the Philly/Pittsburgh game, and this guy just looks flat out unbelievable. Not, just this game but pretty much the entire series so far, and everyone saw how good he was during the playoffs last year. So my question mainly aimed towards Pens fans or people who watch him regularly, is why doesn't he do this during the regular season? When ever he plays the Devils, he's lights out. Yet it seems like when he plays during the regular season he lets in a lot of soft goals and just does not play with the same intensity. Is he just a guy who shows up to play only when he needs to or what?

He drives my Penguins friend crazy. She can't stand his inconsistency. So when he stands on his head like this she's like "WHYYYYY???"

Why should anyone care as long as he plays good enough to get into the Playoffs. The playoffs are the only thing that matters as there is no Cup for the regular season.
P.S. Would be nice to get his take on this in a interview.

Fleury's Season in a nutshell...
October-November Average at best, Pens are looking for a goalie
December-January Starting to get it going, ooops. On the injury list.
February Comes back around All-Star time. Plays a few before the break.
March-April Unconscious. Amazing. Incredible. Nothing more needs be said.
Playoffs Can be the best in the league, or the worst in the league, usually the best.
This guy takes a lot of heat from fans, media, so-called experts.
Look at his numbers...even getting injured he still racks up his 35-40 wins and the Pens will make the playoffs.
Give the kid his due. After all, he's still a kid.

I think he is just a playoff performer. He steps it up when he needs to and is almost always lights out in the playoffs.
