For three months now the trainers and owners of the finest three-year-olds in America have been prepping their horses for the first Saturday in May, the Run for the Roses, the Big One, call it what you will it's the career maker for jockeys, trainers and the road to millions for the right owner.

Once again a wide-open race will be the case, big prices and a field of twenty.

It looks as though I Want Revenge will be the favorite; he won the Gotham Stakes and the Wood Memorial both in New York. That's a path many Derby (photo by Sportsology) winners of the past have taken.

Then get out a big horse blanket and you can toss it over all the rest as they are that close in stature.
