    Two packs 2009 finest

    Went to the local money pit today and picked up a few cards:

    1979 Topps Ozzie Smith RC...some Arods I thought I didn't have...but now have dupes...

    I also won the weekly contest and received a box of 2008 Bowman Chrome as my prize. I'm still deciding whether to bust it or not.

    Anyway, I went ahead and bought two over-priced packs of 2009 Finest ($10 each) and here's what I got:

    BASE:
    #3 Evan Longoria
    #11-Jimmy Rollins
    #13 Alex Rodriguez PC!!!
    #28 Prince Fielder
    #54 Ervin Santana
    #80 Brandon Webb
    #119 Jason Bay (in Red Sox uniform..way to go Topps! Somebody finally figured out he's no longer on the Pirates)
    #139 Humberto Sanchez (rookie logo)

    REFRACTOR:
    #26 Chase Utley

    I'll probably hold on to this for my PC for now, but may put it up for trade later on if an Arod I desperately need comes along.

    Nice pull. I don't know if this will make sense, but to me the base cards look like you're looking at them through a peephole in a door - the sides being pinched in makes them look almost distorted.

    I agree, but they do look better than the scan. Past Finest designs were better in my opinion

    You're suppose to get 1 per mini box so not that hard...you roughly get 1 auto for about every $45-55 spent. There's also autograph version of some of the inserts with veteran players so I don't know if it's possible to get two autos in one mini box but I guess it would be since you are guaranteed a rookie letter auto in every mini box (2 per hobby box). I still don't know what letter it is...probably will redeem it tomorrow
