Upper Deck at the Toronto Expo
I heard some rumours that UD wasn't going to go to the Expo this year... but I guess this article puts that to rest...
Upper Deck Gives Back at the Toronto Sport Card & Memorabilia Expo
NHL’s Sole Trading Card Licensee Unveils Impressive ‘Priority Signings’ Checklist
Las Vegas, NV, Wednesday April 22, 2009
Once again, the Upper Deck Company and hobby retailers in the U.S. and Canada have enjoyed a successful season of hockey card sales and now it’s time to give something back to those collectors at the upcoming NHL Spring Expo in Toronto (May 1 through May 3). The NHL Spring Expo extravaganza at the Toronto International Centre attracts thousands of rabid hockey collectors from all across North America, as well as Europe and Asia. And Upper Deck is making sure to thank collectors for another great year of sales.
The most exciting portion of Upper Deck’s involvement this year is the semi-annual wrapper redemption program where collectors who open one box of either 2008-09 Ice, 2008-09 SPx or 2008-09 SP Game-Used Hockey at the Upper Deck booth will receive a random NHL “Priority Signings” autograph card. Upper Deck has pulled out some of the biggest names in hockey to help make this one of the most exciting sets in show history. Each card is sequentially numbered and limited to varied amounts. This promotion is limited to one card per person per day and will only be available while supplies last.
Redemption hours at the Upper Deck booth will be on Friday, May 1, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday, May 2, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.; and on Sunday, May 3, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A full checklist of the cards in this year’s set is listed below:

Any advice as to what I should bust at the expo. My choices so I can get the Itg wrapper redemptions are BTP, Hereo's n Prospects, Superlative. And so I can get an upperdeck redemption my choices are SPGU, ICE and SPX. I have a total of 400 trade(if i can trade them) and 200 cash. As well my wife will be busting one of the box at each so I can get two redemptions. What should I do.

Based on what you have in cash, it sounds like you need to do the cheapest at each place, which will probably be Ice and H&P I'd think, right?

I dout it. My high ends will most like sell. I know for a fact a certain collector will be buying my crsoby for at least 150. And Im not sure if im going to do both just a suggestion. Im might just go with ITG or I might just go with upperdeck.

Well then Im not sure what youre asking. If you know you'll have more money, why list what you have now?
Personally, of the 3 UD products SPGU is the safest bet. It's also the most expensive. In terms of ITG, BTP is obviously the call there, if money isnt the issue. I dont know what ITG is giving away.

Thats what i was thinking but last year I got burned bad by ITG will the upperdeck redemptions saved the day.
What Im thinking is possibly opening two ultimate packs and having the wife bust a box of BTP or two more ultimate.
