Sounds cool. I will be doing a veggie garden and some herbs this year. May do a strawberry in a cool looking rock formation garden.

cool!
ya know those ball-things for the garden you always see on columns out in yards?
i'm so addicted to them whenever i go to stores! lol
i want to get flowers, tomatos, and a bird bath too
i always say that when i get a house of my own someday i want to make myself a "Zen Garden" in the backyard (With a little bridge and stones and stuff)

My bro has a bunch of those ball things all over in his back yard lol. I have a miniature zen garden if that counts lol. Would love to do the zen garden you have in mind if we only had the yard space for it!
Fresh garden stuff is so much better then anything in the store and especially brings out its flavor when grilling.
I thought about getting an aero garden for the winter as I really miss the fresh veggie stuff then.

i feel ur pain :(
i live in a set of town houses, and our back yards are a strip of land connecting all of them. i do have a.... maybe 10 x 10 foot little box space next to my deck, though, maybe gonna get one of those ball-thingys, lol, and maybe some statues to go with the flowers

We're doing a garden this year, but for food, not flowers. Potatoes, corn, beans, peas, tomatoes, peppers (green, jalapeno, and cayenne), okra, squash, and who knows what else. My family has had a garden for a long time, my parents both grew up on farms, but this will be the first time I'm doing one too.

Yeah we have a lot of space. We live in a rural area, so not as cramped as some places. We're actually having two different gardens...one for potatoes and one for everything else.

Planting your own veggies always seems like a lot of work, but it seems a lot more personally rewarding when you are eating them and know that you made them instead of buying them...
