    Top 10 super pests

Have you seen the video on TSN of the top 10 super pests?

I really can't believe that Avery tops their list... Every highlight they show of the other 9 players is a cheap shot, be it spearing, knee-on-knee hits, boarding, hits to the head, hits from behind, etc. The only clips they show of Avery are him yapping his mouth off at people.

Maybe I'm a bit biased (I am a Rangers fan) but I really don't think Avery belongs to be lumped into the same group as Darcy Tucker, Dale hunter, Darius Kasparitis, and all them (frankly I don't think Tikanen should be in that group either). Maybe they should've done a better job differentiating between pests and guys that made a career out of taking cheap shots, because clearly there's a difference between the two.

    Thoughts?

Have not seen the video, but Avery is just fresh in everyones mind right now so, it is what it is, all that matters is winning right? Peace.

thanks Don... that's the one. I still think Avery's antics are nothing in comparison to some of the cheap shot in this video.

Avery is a ™™™™ and cheap shot artist. his stick to the back of the goalies head the other night was just more proof.

now I'm a Rangers fan and one of the few who do not like Avery. Yes, Avery is a super pest. And the reason I think he ranks so highly among super pests is that he can actually play when he feels like it. And he doesn't give cheap shots as often as most pests. As for calling hitting Tim Thomas in the back of the head with his stick a cheap shot, no its not a cheap shot. A cheap shot is hitting someone with the intent of injuring them, its not like Avery took a whack at him, he just didn't bother to pull his stick in as he skated passed during a tv timeout. He's not going to get hurt there, he was just trying to rile him up. Of course it should be a penalty but to call it a cheap shot is just untrue.
