Jesse- in 1998 Topps Gold Label had an insert set that included McGwire, and Maris. The insert set had a black label parallel. I know the card used to book for $36, but that was awhile back. There are a lot of sets that are not even in the Beckett Quarterly anymore.
Always Looking for:
A) Graded Vintage (Pre-1980) (BGS, BVG, PSA, SGC) in all sports
B) Graded True RC's (No inserts or parallels) (BGS, PSA, SGC) in all sports
C) Certified Auto and GU cards of players from the 70's and further back in all sports

I can't even find it listed in the OPG.
This is what I see under 1998 Topps GOld Label Class 1 (no other gold labels are listed):
Main Set
1998 Topps Gold Label Class 1
Parallel Set
1998 Topps Gold Label Class 1 Black
1998 Topps Gold Label Class 1 One to One
1998 Topps Gold Label Class 1 Red
I'm sure it's in the annual, but mine isn't the most recent one. If it does book at 36 (I'm not doubting you at all) I'm not really interested in trading GU for it. WIll trade inserts for it though.

Jesse- I only know that the card used to book for $36. I don't know what it books for now. I would prefer to trade it for GU though

Jesse- The Topps Gold Label Maris was in the spring quarterly Beckett. The BV at that time was $24. Would you trade GU for it?

I might trade low end GU for it, with like a BV of 6-10 dollars.

Jesse- I am not looking for any particular player and I do not have access to a Beckett at this moment. Do any of the retired player GU fall into the tradable category for the Maris?

We only have a couple of retired player GU on our trade page. You may have been looking at our Personal Collection which is not for trade.
The only retired players on our GU trade page are the McCovey and Sandbergs. The McCovey books for 10. The Sandberg's book a little higher and are not for trade for the Maris. You can usually tell cheap GU by the player and set.
