Caps' Green a Finalist for Norris Trophy

Washington Capitals standout Mike Green, the NHL's leading scorer among defenseman, was named a finalist for the Norris Trophy yesterday, joining perennial nominees Zdeno Chara of the Boston Bruins and Nicklas Lidstrom of the Detroit Red Wings.

I think Mike will win it because of his practically unheard of offensive numbers, but he really needs to work on his defense. While being so good in the offensive zone, I think he is terrible on the defensive side.
I'd take Chara or Lidstrom over Mike in a flash.

Mike's in a very distinct group here. I like his chances, but Chara has been a "tower" of consistancy this season. Lidstrom as always even though getting to the end of his career put in all around effort too.
I'd like to root for the Saskatoon boy, but it has a good chance to go to Chara.
This is first appearance for the norris, and has a good chance to be a regular year after year. All he has to do is improve, and hands down will be rewarded.Searching for: Jagr, Palffy, Stumpel, and Boyd
