Hawaii Trade Show Scans - All Going to Members!

I will be writing up a formal review of the conference later today, but I wanted to give everyone a preview of what will be given away in contests or for Card Cash. Tony will post his scans later, so this is about half of what will be given away. Most of it will be going for Card Cash!

If you didn't know, most of the major manufactures give away lots of promos/goodies at the Hawaii Trade Show. For some attendees it seems to be the main reason they come to the show. :) One of the ironic pulls was a Dinosaur Femur bone that I pulled during the NHL breakfast.

In the first lot, the Jordan Shaffer and Eddie Murray cards are numbered to 5 and the ridiculous hockey quad (Gretzky, Orr, Mr Hockey and Lemieux) auto is numbered to 3.



In the second lot I rescanned the quad, hockey auto and Shaffer card for a clearer look. The other two cards are 1/1 printing plate autos.



The third lot has a Westbrook printing plate, an Errol Flyn card numbered to 20 and two basket ball hits from some SPx packs I opened up.



I also got a full box of 2009 Press Pass Elements Elements for the racing guys.

Mike's presentation quickly became the talk of the conference. I think SCF is about to see some significant growth.

I did give a 30 minute presentation yesterday and think it went over well to get more card shops involved on SCF and I think Tony and I did a good job solidifying our current sponsors and adding a few more.

We will NOT get an immediate influx of members from this. What we will get over the next week are some of the best card shop owners in the world. I can tell you that most people that attend the Hawaii Trade Show LOVE the industry and are great people. We are looking at getting them on SCF to buy, sell and trade their cards and post their events on our site so you know what card shop events/card shows are going on in your area. Over time I think they will send plenty of their customers to SCF.

yea i understand, i just think card shops are great to have on here, they have such a wide variety of cards (i know, since i work at one myself) and they are probably the easiest to trade with because the needs they have can be tons!

sounds like a great show overall and +1 for SCF in my book!
