Card Betting Forum Shutting Down

As of midnight EST on 2/18/09, the Card Betting Forum will be shutting down. We will no longer host a forum for members to wager their sports cards. We've had too many issues over the last few months with members not holding up their end of deals. If you choose to conduct bets via PM or e-mails after the forum is closed, we will no longer attempt to assist you in any way on your wagers. In other words, it will Be At Your Own Risk.

I'm sure there are a few who frequent that forum that will be upset by this, but it is in the best interest of the site.

wow... after literally getting in 5 minutes ago i am DEEPLY dissapointed in some of the members of this site.. sucks that a few bad apples had to ruin the fun for the many many honest members of SCF wish there was some way in just banning the dishonest members but oh well.. sucks to just work up to this and to not be able to join in the fun..

I'm sorry to ruin the fun. I just PM'd the password just minutes before this was posted. There have been problems with a few people lately, but the forum was also not getting many people on there to make bets lately either. I PM'd everyone that owes me cards and everyone I owed cards to before it closes tomorrow. Maybe one day they will have this forum up again with newer restrictions.

i think we something should be figured out, i would be a regular on this forum and have been before it was A LOT of fun, i would suggest like a 1 strike and your out policy and banned but im not a mod just a suggestion, would be cool to keep the members happy..

I too will miss this forum. I was a regular in there but have had at least one incident that I can remember of a member not sending and have heard of others so I guess I can't argue it too much. Bummer

I PM'd Turd Ferguson for the password awhile ago, but never received a reply? I guess I will never get to see that forum. *sigh*

Hmmm. Maybe there should be a higher limit for feedback to being able to bet. Like if an obviously good member wanst to they should be allowed. Like maybe you have to have at least 100 feedback and not very expensive cards can be bet.
