It is a bit steep, but considering you save a lot of time (I'm talking about maybe a good 2 years or so) in looking for these cards, I wouldn't be surprised if somebody does snatch it up at like $5000.

But realistically, if I had the money, I wouldn't spend more then $3000 on it.

Actually, now that I think about it, $5,000 would be a very good offer for this set, and i don't think $7,000 is really that bad either considering the time factor.

Watching these cards for over a year now, this is how I would personally break down the prices in SV:

    Charles Barkley $400
    Clyde Drexler $150
    Kevin Garnett $300
    Anfernee Hardaway $400
    Grant Hill $250
    Allen Iverson $350
    Kerry Kittles $50
    Toni Kukoc $100
    Reggie Miller $150
    Hakeem Olajuwon $125
    Glen Rice $125
    David Robinson $125
Michael Jordan $600-$800 (Really depends on the market)
    Alonzo Mourning $75
    Tim Hardaway $125
    Marcus Camby $125
    Antoine Walker $50
    Kevin Johnson $125
    Glenn Robinson $50
    Patrick Ewing $50
    Anfernee Hardaway $500
    Grant Hill $250

    Total Sv: $4,500

So if I was the seller, I wouldn't accept anything less then $5,000, when you consider the time and everyting.

And just for your viewing pleasure, here's a pic of what I consider to be Michael Jordan's greatest autograph card, the 97-98 Michael Jordan Autograph Multi-Color Jersey card:
