I used this free spam scanner...It's actually worth downloading...Not only did it help get rid of that April fools virus...it detected alot of garbage on my computer...I actually do notice a huge improvement in my overall speed of the computer...might be useful on your computer.

Please download and run "Quick Scan" That should take care of most of your virus troubles
I also recommend running this every 5 days or so.

Clean out your registry keys and cookies with it, cookies can with hold such malicious things that make anti-virus pop ups come up that are actually viruses!

Hi Abradley08, try this:
1. Turn off your computer
2. Wait 30 seconds, turn your computer back on
3. While your computer is loading hit F8 a few times.
4. Select safe mode, press enter to continue
5. Try accessing the internet now.
6. Download and run the Malwarebytes and CCleaner
7. Shut down your computer and restart normally.
