    I Need Some Advice.....any Help Appriciated

    im planning a wedding and need to sell some of my cards to help out with some things.....now i have a decent John Tavares Collection and would like to recieve the most money back that i can.....now is it better to sell now before the draft while the hype is still there because anything can happen on draft day or should i wait until after the raft.....what do you think would yield the most

    Congrats on the upcoming nuptuals! As my gift, I move this to Hockey Card Talk and offer this advice: wait until draft day if you can. With all the rumours and speculation that the #1 pick could be traded, if he gets moved to a large market (i.e. Toronto) the demand for his cards will be absolutely off the charts.

    thats my only worry because right now there is a hype out there that he could get moved to toronto....but what if the isles just hold onto the pick and choose him.....i just dont want to wait too long being too greedy and then lose out on what i could have made because anything can help now and thanks

    I would sell hedge my bets and sell some now and keep a few that are really unique for the draft day if you think he going to go Number One.
