What to Do With My Complete Black Diamond Set?
Some folks may have noticed that I've put up my complete 1-210 Black Diamond set FT/FS - it just wasn't as thrilling a chase this year and now that it's done, well, what next? I've received very little response to it thus far. It's a little surprising to see such little interest in a one-stop place to grab one of the tougher sets to put together each year.
So that leaves me pondering; should I keep plugging away in the hopes that somebody wants it, or should I break it up? I'd prefer the former by a longshot, as who knows I may be able to get a couple high-enders that I'd never be able to grab otherwise. But how long is too long to hold out hope? At what point do I say it's time to break it up and let people pick away at it?
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

Sets in general only appeal to set collectors, and those folks value the chase of doing it themselves.
If you really want to sell it, auction it on ebay.
Personally, Im not at all a fan of Black Diamond. I do one box a year, sometimes none. I've got a few of the CBJ RCs, and I dont consider them high enough in the food chain to put them in my PC (CBJ RC's only, YG and above)

I will give my opinion
I have noticed in BD alot of cards are chipped because of the nature of the cards. Also i think the quad vets book stupid..
They book 30,40, even 50 but can easily be had on devil bay for next to nothing (Gretzky sells for undr 10 bucks)
and the best rookie BV wise in the set Stamkos sold for about 16 bucks
It is a tough set to put together but in my opinion does not carry the Value like other sets
Good luck in whatever you chose to do. I am not sure what kind of cash value you have tied up in it.. perhaps try the bay with it
