how long do u wait?

so i baught some cards on ebay on April 3rd.. I got an email from the person on april 8th saying there was personal problems and they would mail within 2 days. That was fine with me, i take care of personal problems b4 cards too. but.... i still havent got the cards yet. i sent them an email, and no response.(only sent it yesterday tho, so ill give that some time.)
I have to keep in mind that they are from Canada so it takes some time to get to the US.

But is this taking too long? or is it just me?

any thoughts/comments?

i wasnt really asking for advice on if i should leave posotive or negative feedback. i was asking how long do u wait to send them an email asking them whats goin on. if u read the title u would know that.

they said they were having personal problems so i didnt want to rush it.

thats pretty rude, some people havent dealt with expierences before like this and really need the help so they know what to do in future events...

personally, give it a few more days, and if no response/card(s) put in a dispute with paypal, if he didnt send yet, the dispute usually does the trick

i usually wait two weeks. then i send an email wait a day or two. then send another email. if he doesn't respond by the end of week 3 or you have the card . just file a paypal dispute.

With Canada, it can be a crapshoot. I've had stuff take 1 week and stuff take 3 weeks to get to me from the same person in Canada. If it were in the US, I'd definitely be getting antsy, but with Canada, it's a bit more understandable.
