I was in the process of checking out a couple things on beckett when I stumbled on this thread

Title: "New Superlative Franchises - Not so Super"

I personally opened a bunch of last year's Superlative and a good deal of this year's Bleu Blanc et Rouge. I've also watched "allot" of it get opened.

I just sat and watched (4) cases - 40 books - of the new Superlative Franchises get opened and must honestly say that I've never seen such loads of crap in my life. Considering this stuff costs $500/pack and is hand-sorted, we are all sitting here wandering what gives. One of us then suggested giving a friend of ours a call who is at the Toronto Expo. The reason - because ITG specifically targeted this weekend for it's release.

No coincidence, the first words out of my friends mouth - "you should see what people are pulling out of the Superlative down here, cut autos, 1/1's etc."

Now it's bad enough that ITG pulled this stunt at the National last year - where "surprisingly" the Lord Stanley and several other cut autos got pulled but this seems to be a new level. Personally, I know a bunch of people who will never touch ITG product again (this includes wholesalers and stores). Still not sure why I bother, other then the fact that UD can be boring and I'm stired of waiting years for redemptions.

LOL....I guess there will be no ITG products on Beckett soon...and HI will be coming to their defense, taking donatins for the legal fees

this is now the 3rd board that I have seen this type of thread from the last 3 major events. This is no longer a coincidence in my opinion

Until somebody's posting the pics, it's all hearsay, isn't it? And let's face it: look at the checklist, there are about 30 Paper Cut autos and numerous 1/1s. Of course people are going to be pulling them when they're cracking it like candy at the show. It's amazing how little it takes for people to start piling on the ITG Conspiracy Bandwagon.

I will give you that I have not "officially heard" of the pulls yet from the Expo.
