Who is your white whale?

There always seems to be that guy that you see success after success from other members posted, but you never seem to be able to get. For me that guy was always Greg Maddox. It seemed like every ST he would sign for some people and a few times during the season and I always missed getting his autograph. Anyone else have a white Whale and who is it for you?

It was Yao Ming until late March of this year. Got a pre-printed card when I sent c/o team during his rookie year, twice returned items unsign c/o his old home address, returned card unsigned c/o his current home address, then finally a success through that address. 1-5 if that's the count.

I sent a great 11x14 to Jay Buhner of him and Griffey after a griffey homer. I sent it several months back but havent heard a thing. I know that Griffey is almost impossible but I would be willing to do an IP or whateve it takes to get those two guys on a photo.

Other than that... I would have to say any letter I have ever written that never made its way back to me. I wish I knew what happened to that letter

For me it is David Eckstein and Grady Sizemore. I have been doing this hobby for almost a year now and I am 0 for 4 for both of these guys. Sent to Eckstein last year with the Jays and Diamondbacks and twice this spring. Sent to Sizemore via the Indians last year, home in the off season and st this year. Seemed a lot of people got successes from these guy but nothing for me yet.
