Okay Folks...Im hardly a new kid on the block when it comes to trading and cards....For whatever reason before this season I havent really given Basketball that much attention....My sister has been dating this guy who is really into the Spurs and thus he has gotten me luke warm to the idea of basketball once again....Im asking for alittle help on products like wax stuff...I havent followed basketball really since the days of Magic,Bird,Jordan,Pippen...The classic days before Basketball players were producing rap albums and being disrespectful to their mothers...lol Seriously though...Say I have like 70-80 bucks to spend..what are my best choices and will gimme some decent/good pulls from?

Personally, I'm a huge fan of Topps Murad. You get 24 packs a box, five cards a pack, one mini per pack, and an auto and a g/u guaranteed. I've opened three boxes and they've all had an extra hit in them, either a silk /25 card or a 1/1 printing plate. So, some fun hits and it's a cool set if you're going to build it. Give it a look.

if you like a relatively cheap products with tonnes of hits in them, i would recommended Topps Luxury Box. 06-07 Luxury Box costs around $50 and it comes with 6 packs, 8 cards per pack, 1 auto, 4 relics, and 8 parallels/rc's. You can get 07/08 Luxury Box for around $70-$80, and you get 1 hit in each pack (10 packs, 2 autos, 8 relics, 10 parallels/rc's).

I agree with this. Also, all the hits, even of sub-standard players, carry a good value.

Primarily what Im looking out of a potential box is being able to turn things around and trade them...I know that nobody can predict what a box will bring....But certainly collectors prefer certain brands of cards over others...
