    Also, buy starting the bidding at $99, you've scared away a lot of potential buyers. Event though most people looking at that card know it's going to end much higher, for some reason people shy away from high starting bids. Maybe it makes them feel like they don't have a shot at a bargain.

    that's a weird one isn't it?

    even on a 100$ card, if you start it at say, 5.99, you'll still lose some people, even though it's 'usually' guaranteed to hit that anyway, sometimes with even two days left..

    on a good note, it leaves the actual serious people to battle it out..
