I haven't touched any Ice this year but the product information sheet is here:
    http://sports.upperdeck.com/collecto....aspx?aid=5190

To answer a couple of the questions:
    1. If you get no great cards, you're out $1300 and stuck with a bunch of cards. Pretty much the same as if you were to pull some great cards.
    2. Ice is a very risky product - you may get the huge /99 hit, but with this year's relatively weak rookie crop, unless you get a Mason or a super-great patch, you will likely not make your money back on it.

Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

I bought a case of Ice last year.

I still have the case of base cards that no one wants.

If you don't care about selling the sets at 5 bucks each, then buy away.

By the way are you eahobbies, the banned member from Hobby Insider?

As far as cases go...Dave and Adams and most other whole salers its cheaper to buy the 12 boxes individually because you arent guarunteed the case hit...Then again with alittle luck there is potential that you could hit multiple times with a case hit by buying 12 individual boxes...Just something to consider....I personally would rather drop just a wee bit more money for a case of something like Sp Authentic or SP Game Used

Yea if you are trying to make your money back, do not buy Ice. The best you could hope for would probably be to make half your money back, but even that is pushing your luck. The average rookie /99 does not even sell for $70.
