Who uses torrents? Need some help
So I just found out you can download comics via torrents and I want to try it out...but I'm having problems. I used torrents just a couple of times a long time ago and I forgot basically everything.
So I do a search for a torrent of the book I want and find many sites that have one. I've got uTorrent...I go to it, click add torrent from url, then put in the address of the torrent I found...and nothing. I've done this repeatedly and none of them ever actually download anything. What am I doing wrong?

When I use uTorrent, I just click on download on the page and it automatically starts the download on uTorrent. I don't have to copy the URL or nothing like that.
What site are u using to do it?

I've tried a bunch of different sites, all the same result.
I use Opera instead of IE or Firefox and it downloads the torrents in the browser, so it doesn't go to uTorrent automatically. But it does the same thing, no progress on the download...maybe I'm just finding a bunch of bum torrents?

Ok so apparently it's the torrents I tried that weren't working...tried some other torrent stuff and that works fine.
Now, I just need to figure out how to properly download a comic torrent and then open it...I've got Comical (a comic book reader) and I downloaded the X-Men Origins: Wolverine torrent, but I can't get it to open it...any help?

did you unzip/unrar the torrent?
does it need to be cleaned up or is it ready to go once it's downloaded?
problem w/ torrents is you have to sift through so many crappy ones to find some good ones.
newsgroups is way better
