Actually, he is the most deserving.

He should have won it last year, but they gave it to Kobe because he had the better team....why should it be any different for LeBron?

Wade couldn't even get his team out of the first round of the Playoffs. Hardly an MVP.

Yup they gave it to Kobe because he should have won it the year before but they gave it to Dirk. They are just a year behind that's all.

I'm putting all my money on Wade to win it next year

WOW, give me a break Lebron don't deserve it? Now thats the dumbest thing ive heard in awhile. Lebron is the clear winner here. I like Wade and all, but If it wasn't Lebron Kobe should of won it.

Just b ecause a player o nyour team didnt win it, dont mean you can't respect the person who did win it.

Lebron is one of the heardest working players i nthe nba on and off the court.

where exactly do you see Heat fans on here backing up their player?? This is the consensus of regular fans around the league.

And also this is a public forum which means people can "disrespect" the player that wins if they think someone else is more deserving

Well deserve for Lebron. He is the best player in the league right now. He should have 2 in a row, because last year he was the MVP also. I am not saying there are no other good players on the league, but, LJ is the best right now

Does anyone have any actual evidence to back up a claim for Wade? I'm just not seeing an argument for him being more of an MVP than James this year. I know if you take Wade away, the Heat are in the lottery, but if you take James away, the Cavs would just about be in the same boat.

just like the year Dirk won it,(I thought this was a joke)

Kobe averaged 35 and a half a game and his usually 5 rebs and 5 assists( numbers the nba hasnt seen in awhile but yet kobe finished 3rd in the voting?)

but just because dirks team had the better record he won it.

im not saying lebron doesnt deserve it because he had an awesome seaon but he can have this mvp trophy... Kobe will be holding the NBA Finals MVP Trophy and Championship Trophy soon.

in the East the Cavs would still be a playoff team without him

I updated my sig banner to reflect this news!

I think this was LeBron's year. Kobe's was well deserved last year. Wade actually should have won the award in one of Nash's years when the Heat had a better team than they did this season, because as has been pointed out in this thread, the MVP rarely, rarely goes to a player on a mediocre team. The historical precedent has already been set, so there was little chance of Wade winning it this year whether people like it or not.
