    Celtics’ Powe has successful surgery

    BOSTON (AP)—Boston Celtics forward Leon Powe has undergone successful surgery for a microfracture and torn ligaments in his left knee.

    The team announced that team physician Dr. Brian McKeon performed the surgery Tuesday morning at New England Baptist Hospital.

    Glad everything went ok. The Celtics really miss him about now on the front line they are down to just Davis and Perkins in the middle.
