90s sets
Hey guys! I was thinking about buying some old stuff to break. I know most of them really have nothing and are just for the fun of it, but does anyone know any set that has some cards worth something, like autos or jerseys. Like I'm thinking about something along the lines of this jersey set

or like this

which sets are those from btw?
So yea, does anyone know any good high end-ish sets from the 90s that have worthy cards of collecting like that, or just are equivalent to hobby boxes today.
thx!

those two jsy sets you have there are some of the hardest cards ever produced to pull out of packs, especially the 97-98 ud jsy set
i wouldn't exactly try to by older boxes in hopes of getting one of those
autographs are a different story though.....i would def try to go after the older autographics sets from 96-97 and 97-98......all you have to do is buy fleer/skybox products of those years and the chances of getting one is higher with the purchase of a "higher end" product of the time
examples (skybox z-force, skybox premium, ex2000 and 2001, metal, metal universe, etc.)

Are they usually per box? Also, I think they didn't have sticker autos until later, so does that make the autos worth a lot since they are on card? I mean the autographs have a decent and steady value right

no...they are not usually one per box....depending on the product you buy the autos can range from one in every 2,3, or 4 boxes. no sticker autos were used then....they are all on card which doesn't necessarily make them worth more but it's a plus.....and the cards 13 years later have definitely held their value

Do you have one that you like specifically? I was looking at some online and it never advertised the autos on the box so I wasn't sure which year of like skybox premium or which year of z-force had autos.
thx btw for all the help

i liked both the 96-97 and 97-98 skybox premium sets and the fleer metal and metal universe sets...if you look on the boxes of them, it normally says "LOOK FOR AUTOGRAPHICS".....it says this on all the fleer/skybox products at the time
the cool thing about these products is that not only do you have the chance of getting autographics, but 96-97 and 97-98 had unbelievable rookie classes with awesome rcs you can pull, plus all the great inserts and parallels like skybox premium rubies and metal universe precious metal gems that still have high dollar demand for them
anytime man......i love helping out fellow collectors and talking about these older boxes reminds me of my childhood

Those 97/98 jerseys are awesome, i don´t know how many come per box/case but a few years ago i bought 10 packs and got the Reggie Miller jersey. I think it´s the most valuable card i have.
