dude i feel ya. not sure if its nationwide but here in Amarillo it seems to be the cool thing to:
1. buy a late model crown vic for next to nothin at a police auction or buy one at a used car lot for next to nothin
2. put a $2,000 paint job on it
3. invest atleast $1000 in a suspension lift kit
4. spend $2,000-$5,000 on 24-28 inch rims
5. the aformentioned addition to thousands of dollars in screens and speakers

i actually saw a car with all of the above on the back of a repo tow truck. they spent sooooooo much on the extras, they forgot the car payment!!!!

Agree with those, except for #1. Some people choose to serve there country domestically for a year. Sometimes those people that do so, choose to do that work in Los Angeles. Sometimes those people cry themselves to sleep every night because they are the only Giants fan in the area and cringe whenever they see Dodger Blue. This is all hypothetical of course.
