It didn't cause pain at all. Rafer didn't intend it to be pain afflicting. If that deserves suspension, then Rondo deserved two suspension and Kobe deserves one.

They already suspended Dwight Howard, Fisher, and Rafer.

Where the heck is the consistency?

    Precisely!
Kenyon got fined 25K for bumping Dirk?!
No fine on either of Rondos run ins.

if you watch basketball in the paint you will see little elbows everywhere. if he elbowed upward like you say then he would have hit artest in the face but he did not. he didnt hurt nor tried to hurt artest. just to get him off his back. artest barely even felt that. if that happened during a pickup game no one would be complaining about a foul or anything like that.

and ill say this, if ron artest did the same thing i still would say the same thing.. no suspension because this was nothing seriously.

anyways Lakers go up 2-1 tonight

Ron Artest got ejected. If he threw that elbow, I'm sure he'd get suspended.

You or I don't know whether or not Kobe intended to hurt Artest. It's our opinions, and only Kobe and God knows. He did elbow upward, it hit Artest in the neck/chest area. And, Artest felt enough to think it was worth to get a technical. (Not an ejection though)

The only reason Ron Artest got ejected is because he ran across the court and got in Kobe's face. He literally RAN across the whole court to prove his point. And the refs didn't want none of that.

on a side note: Anyone remember when Kobe elbowed Bibby in the face and they didn't call a foul. It was Kings/Lakers playoff series i dont remember what year though

lol, I remember that, it was in the 2002 series, where they called a foul on Doug Cristie's nose for hitting kobe's elbow.

Not that play the Lakers were inbounding and it was just Kobe and Bibby in the backcourt and he was trying to break free from bibby and he knocked him over. there was like less than 3 mins in the game. lol

My take as a Magic fan is Rafer deserves his suspension, Dwight deserved his, Fisher deserves his, Kobe should have been looked at but I could go either way here, still thinking Rondo deserves something, too many dirty moves this postseason.
